HANNES SCHMID
Hannes Schmid is a renowned artist and philanthropist from Switzerland. He achieved worldwide fame as a photographer with his staging of the iconic Marlboro Cowboy for Philip Morris and his portraits of rock stars such as Queen, AC/DC, Status Quo and ABBA, with whom he toured the world for several years. Today, he works to improve the lives of disadvantaged people in rural Cambodia through the NGO Smiling Gecko he founded in 2012.
